On Wednesday 16th March, the Year 7 Boys played Guilsborough, which did prove to be a tougher test than the previous game as expected. The game was made harder because some key players were unavailable. However, after giving Guilsborough a 10-0 head start within the first 5 minutes the Wrenn boys started to grow in confidence and recycled the ball much better. The first half ended 25-20 to the opposition. The boys came out full of confidence in the second half and took the game to Guilsborough but couldn’t quite hold out for a win, conceding in the last two minutes to finish the game 40-40. An end to end game that was full of big tackles and brilliant solo runs.
Next game (last of the season) is on Monday 21st March at home against Lodge Park.
