On March 17th, 4 members of staff went over to KLV to represent the school in the County Workplace Volleyball Competition. This is a competition open to any work place in the county, so there were other school staff there as well as other companies.

Our qualification group turned out to be the easier of the two but still required us to remain focussed and ensure we reached the final. The first game was against Parklands Primary School Staff, this was a little embarrassing as Wrenn won 21-0! The second game proved to be a tougher test against a spirited team from RML group, however, Wrenn were victorious with a 21-4 win! The final game in the group proved to be the toughest test but Wrenn came through beating Southfield School Staff 21-5. This saw Wrenn top the group, scoring 63 points and conceeding 9!

The final was a tighter affair against Waendel Leisure Centre staff, however, the Wrenn team saved their best volleyball till last and won 21-13. This makes the Wrenn staff team county champions.

Well done!
