3rd December 2009 - Parents' Day

An opportunity for the Sixth form tutors to discuss progress with the students and their parents.

26th November 2009

Heads of School and other mentors will be continuing their 'Community of Enquiry' training.  This training, leading to a recognised qualification, encourages a variety of Teaching and Learning styles to be used with groups of students.

20th November 2009

An opportunity for the students to raise money for Children in Need.  Sixth form students will be supporting this event by dressing in 'casual clothing' for the day.

07/01/09 – 28/01/09 - January Exams


Thursday 5th February 2009 - Holocaust Memorial Day

This year we will host Josef Perle, Holocaust Survivor, who will talk to the Sixth Form about his experiences.


13th March 2009 - Red Nose Day

A chance for Sixth Formers to have fun while supporting a worthwhile charity.  Red Noses will be sold on the run-up to the day – only £1.


Monday 16th March 2009 - Sixth Form Consultation Evening

A chance to see your child’s subject teachers.  Students will be required to book the appointments with the appropriate teachers.  Forms given nearer the time.

1st June 2009 – July 2009 - June Exams

 

Monday 22nd – Wednesday 24th June 2009 - Sixth Form Induction

All students that have applied to Wrenn School are asked to attend this 3 day Induction.  Students will experience taster lessons of the subjects they have chosen, take part in initiative exercises and will get to know other students who will also be in Sixth Form.


Wednesday 8th July 2009 - Sixth Form Olympics

Wrenn's opportunity to defend our title against Weavers, Sir Christopher Hatton and Wollaston School.
