Special Educational Needs Print

sen

At Wrenn, we take Special Educational Needs very seriously. Ms Clark is the SENCO for years 7 and 8 and Mrs Thomas is the SENCO for years 9 to 11. Please contact them if you have any concerns.

The School's Special Needs Policy states that it is the task of each Department to meet every pupil's needs. This means that every pupil should be set work in which they can achieve

A few pupils will join us with a Statement of Special Needs under the 1981 Education Act. It may be the case that, after joining Wrenn, it is felt-that a pupil would benefit from such a Statement. This group of pupils has extra support in lessons and small groups, or individual attention to help them improve. Each pupil with a Statement has an Annual Review to which parents/guardians are invited.
