Learning & Teaching Styles

The intention of the many approaches to teaching and learning is to encourage involvement from the pupils. Engaging the pupils through the learning styles is recognised as one of the most effective ways to motivate and help the young to learn.
Teaching styles are at times altered by individual members of staff to suit their strengths. This is because many staff members are teaching outside their areas of expertise.

The range of learning styles of the pupils is incorporated into the schemes of work. The approaches to learning will account for the multiple intelligences of our pupils. This need should be recognised by the members of staff.
