NEAL ZETTER visit to Wrenn

Rhymes and rhythms were the order of the day when the fantastic performance poet Neal Zetter came to Wrenn to work with a number of pupils from local primary schools.

By the end of the day all the pupils had created a poem which they performed in groups and every single one was brilliant. During the day Neal performed some of his own poetry including a few from his book ‘It’s Not Fine to Sit on a Porcupine’ which is listed by Booktrust as one of their favourite poetry books.

Year 7 pupils from Wrenn will be given the opportunity to win a signed copy of the book in celebration of World Poetry Day on Tuesday 21st March.
