We believe that homework is an important tool to facilitate in-class learning. It allows staff and students to consolidate work done in class, assess their understanding of current work and topics, and prepare for future learning to come.
Work will be set by subject teachers based on the following general rules:
Years 7-9, 1 homework every 3 lessons, approximately 30mins in length.
Years 10-11, 1 homework every 3 lessons, approximately 45mins in length.
This is only used as a guide and will differ depending on the topic being covered or for example during a lead-up to examinations.
Wrenn uses Show My Homework, an online tool that shows all of your children’s homework, deadlines and grades
To view our school’s live homework calendar, go to our Homework Calendar and use the filters to view your child’s homework tasks.
All students and parents should be provided with login details to your personal account, ready-linked to your child’s homework calendar and gradebook, however, if you don’t have these details, use the link above to view the homework calendar. Now you can stay in the loop without having to ask! If you don’t have these details, please email email@example.com, or use the contact us page.
There are Mobile-friendly & apps available for you to use this service, download them from the usual places.
If you or your child have any questions about the service, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the team at Show My Homework who are always happy to help. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0203 397 7546.
