Wrenn takes the mental health of its Students very seriously, so much so we have recently been awarded the bronze accreditation by Northampton Mental Health Stigma Programme.
“Bronze Schools are committed to raising awareness about mental health issues, stigma and ensuring students and staff know where help and support can be accessed. The delivery of The mental Health Stigma programme is part of the school PSHE curriculum.”
A presentation ceremony was held at Northampton Town FC, Where Mrs Hales, Director of Lower Academy accepted the award on behalf of Wrenn.
Wrenn pupils cheered on Tessa Parkinson, who is raising awareness and the profile of the Northamptonshire Mental Health Stigma Programme, she dropped in on Wrenn Academy to collect our school stamp on her jumpsuit and hand out mental wellbeing resources and balloons which students launched to start the bid for the silver award.
