History at KS3 through to ‘A’ level is delivered by a specialist team of historians.

History at Wrenn is very active. We have visiting speakers, we go on trips and we borrow artefacts/loan boxes on archaeology, Romans, slavery, World War Two and Medicine Through Time, which we have used in lessons giving pupils a ‘hands on’ experience.

History

Trips this year (2009) have included:

Rockingham Castle
Duxford
Warwick Castle
Peterborough Museum
Birmingham Think Tank

History is delivered at the Doddington Road site in four specialist classrooms each with its own projector. History is a popular option both at GCSE and at ‘A’ level.
