We are lucky enough to have our own purpose built gallery in the Art Department. In the past we have had exhibitions by local and International artists and the students find this extremely interesting and helpful.
We firmly believe students should have the chance to exhibit in the wider community as artists in their own right. Students (and their teachers) have exhibited widely, winning competitions and continuing to prove that Wrenn is a regional centre of excellence in Art.

The GALLERY @ Wrenn is delighted to present an exhibition of artwork by Andrew Wynne.
A collection of newer works in a combination of mediums including Batik, Print and Mosaic.
Some works use conventional design ideas from the natural world where I find much inspiration. Other ideas draw inspiration from the sub-conscious, sometimes responding with spontaneity to memories, dreams, lyrics and conversations….. An underlying theme is mosaic …..creating, cutting and re-constructing……striving for perfection from the chaotic combinations of colours, textures and shapes….. ‘I want to do nothing other than see and feel the way a child feels when creating a work….energised….completely absorbed and above all else…happy.’

You are invited to attend an open evening on Monday 7th December. The exhibition runs until 18th December and is open for viewing Monday-Friday between 4-6pm.
