The GALLERY @ Wrenn is delighted to present an exhibition of ceramic artwork by Nita Nathwani.


Advancing age, the loss of health and memory and living far away from the place where I grew up are issues I am currently concerned with, particularly the effects in people close to me.  We may see tragedy or beauty in a single object, conversation or occurrence, but placed in a wider context of life or within a chain of events, it can make complete sense or take on a completely different significance altogether.   

Like the different facets and perceptions of life, I enjoy combining composite pieces, creating order out of chaos, making and understanding patterns and forming the fuller picture.   I find it challenging to work with materials such as wire and fabric as well as ceramics to help me explore the picture in different ways.
