We are delighted to invite you to an innovative and outstanding show of A Level artwork. We have been very lucky with our artists this year, they have a keen interest and a natural ability in the subject. In year 12 the theme of ‘The Body’ was explored and students developed their own artwork from this; the final outcomes are diverse and exciting. The year 13 students developed their own projects depending on their interests and both year groups have experimented with a range of disciplines such as painting, printing, sculpture, photography and creative textiles.
There will be an opportunity for visitors to discuss the course and art work produced with the students as they will be present during the evening.
The art teachers feel very proud of the A Level students this year and we hope you will be able to attend the opening evening and share our celebrations. Light refreshments will be provided on the night.
