GCSE Dance offers you the chance to explore your creative side, focusing on choreography and performance skills, as well as developing your knowledge of famous choreographers in today’s dance world.
What will students learn?
You will learn about different styles of dance and see professional works in those styles by famous choreographers. You will also learn how to choreograph your own dances and develop your own technique when performing.
How will students be assessed?
You will have a practical assessment worth 60% of your final grade and a written exam worth 40%. You will have to perform as a solo and in a group, as well as create your own choreography.
