The girls had a rest day yesterday (20th July) as the storms were massive and too risky to be on high ground. They headed out of Patterdale this morning (21st July) 0830 and walking to Shap, last day in the Lakes.

Friday 29th July:

Finished at 10pm on Thursday evening
Well didn’t they do well!!!! Felicity,Katie, Maya, Poppy, Tanesha and Sarah Earl deserve all the praise you can give them. Thanks also to all the parents for their great attitude in allowing the girls to dream and achieve.  We did not see any other groups doing the C2C as young as our girls. They have put a new meaning to “PROUD TO BE WRENN”. Many thanks also to Miss Fitzjohn, Katie’s Dad Alan for both doing a whole day’s walk with the girls, to The Earl family, Brenda, Rowland and Emma. Thanks to Steve Elliot for being there to cheer them to the finish line.

A fantastic achievement.
