Extra-Curricular Programme

The Sixth Form Senate help to shape life in the sixth form alongside the work of the Senior Prefects.  The group put forward ideas which represent the views of the students and organise a whole range of activities, including social and charity events.  During the year, students have the opportunity to take part in a range of university trips, cultural visits, charity events, workshops, social activities and various sports.  We expect students to take a full part in these activities which encourage teamwork and commitment and help to make the sixth form at Wrenn Academy a vibrant and positive experience.

We are very proud of the charities that we support throughout the year.  In Wrenn Sixth Form we all recognise that, compared to many others in this country and abroad, we are extremely lucky.  We aim to raise money to help others secure an improved quality of life.  We also recognise that we can have a good deal of fun doing it.Our regular causes are Jeans for Genes, Breast Cancer Support, Children in Need, The Poppy Appeal, Save the Children, Women’s Aid and supporting education in Africa.
